LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE AND POLICY

The Men's Ministry operates under a structured multi-tier leadership system to ensure participation, accountability and impact at every level.

1. Executive Committee(EXCOM)

Provides spiritual oversight, direction and accountability, as well as coordinating ministry activities across all arms of the ministry. It is composed of the following members:

a) Pastor in charge (ex-officio)

b) Elder in charge (ex-officio)

c) Head of department (HOD)

d) Deputy HOD

e) Secretary

f) Treasurer

g) Chairs of forums (EXCOM members)

Their main objective is to offer godly stewardship and leadership that keeps the ministry focused, orderly, united and impactful.

2. Forums

The men's forums aim at translating the vision into practical, measurable and impactful programs that transform men  in all spheres. Each forum is headed by a chair and committee members that design, implement and monitor programs in key thematic areas.

There are specific forums established by the 2025 Transformative Action Plan (TAP) , an initiative to holistically address men's spiritual, emotional, social and economic needs. TAP establishes 12 forums each guided by scripture to equip men for excellence

Each forum provides space for all men to serve and gives a platform for training, mentoring, and inducting men into leadership. Men are invited to select and serve in the forum where their gifts, skills, or passion fit. The forums are:

a) Missions Forum (MF) : To mobilize men to engage in evangelism and outreach in the community, nation and beyond. Here, men grow in boldness, faith and impact as witnesses of Christ in the wider world.

b) Discipleship Forum(DF): Building spiritual maturity and Bible grounding. Here, men deepen scripture knowledge and apply biblical principles in daily life.

c) Project Support Forum (PSF): Planning and supporting church development projects. Here, men develop teamwork, project management skills and a sense of contribution to the church.

d) Program Coordination Forum (PCF): Organizes men ministry events, seminars and conferences. Here, men learn organizational skills and ensure smooth, impactful ministry programs.

e) Leadership, Learning and Legacy Forum (LLLF): Mentorship, leadership training, skills building, and succession planning. Here, men are empowered to lead effectively, mentor others and sustain leadership pipelines.

f) Young Men Mentorship Forum (YMMF): Guiding young men spiritually, socially and economically. Here young men grow discipline, purpose and godly character for life success.

g) Stewardship and Economic Empowerment Forum (SEEF): Financial literacy, business skills, and transparent management of ministry contributed funds (financial kitty). Here, men can achieve financial stability, resourcefulness, and wise stewardship of personal and ministry resources.

h) Men's Health and Wellness Forum (HWF): Promoting physical, emotional and mental health. Here, men improve well-being, longevity and vitality for active ministry and family life.

i) Rebuilding Hearts Forum (RHF): Support of widowers, divorced, separated and emotionally wounded men. Men here can recover emotionally, regain confidence and rebuild fulfilling lives.

j) Men Chorale Forum (MCF): Engaging men in worship ministry through music. Men develop musical gifts, deepen worship experience, and inspire congregational praise.

k) The Men Challengers Forum (TMCF): To support men with disabilities and special needs for full participation in all ministry activities. Men feel valued, included and empowered to actively participate in ministry and community life.

3. Men Groups

"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." (Proverbs 27:17)

The different men groups are the operational and fellowship units. The groups handle welfare, fellowship, discipleship and participation in ministry work. The aim of the groups is to build small, close-knit brotherhoods where men can grow, support one another and walk in accountability.

There are many benefits of joining a Men's group which include:

a) Belonging to a praying and supportive brotherhood.

b) You are never alone during times of need.

c) Growing spiritually through Bible study, fellowship and accountability.

d) Opportunity to serve in ministry, missions, welfare and projects.

e) Developing friendships, leadership and mentorship relationships.

f) Receiving guidance, encouragement and practical help.

g) Utilizing one's gifts and skills to serve to serve the church and community.

Every man is encouraged to belong to a group which include Adam, Benjamin, Caleb, Dan, Ephraim, Gad, Issachar, Joshua, Jonathan, Joseph, Judah, Levi, Manasseh, Nehemiah, Reuben and Timothy. All new members join the Adam group and after induction and graduation, move to permanent groups.

The groups are each headed by the following leaders:

a) Group Chairman

b) Group Secretary

c) Group Treasurer

d) Group Forum Coordinators

Each Forum and Men's group leaders has a Community of Practice (CoP) whose purpose is to connect men to learn, share, mentor and support ministry work.

The Men's Ministry works hand-in-hand with other units in the church including the Missions Department, Women's Ministry, CITAM Business Forum (CBF), Social Action and Advocacy (SAA) and other CITAM ministries and departments.
